Me with Jim Cummings

Here I am with the ever-awesome voice actor, Jim Cummings at Wizard World in Nashville. I got to meet quite a few comic book personnel there, but for me, meeting Jim was the best. In the photo you can see the Darkwing Duck DVD set that I got him to sign. (He even wrote [and said] "Let's Get Dangerous" for me!) I also got him to impersonate the Tazmanian Devil and Monterey Jack. He was also impressed that I knew his song "In the Dark of the Night" from 'Anastasia.' We both agreed it was the best part of the movie. But the best part was I asked if I could say something to Winnie the Pooh and perhaps Tigger as well. He replied: "They're listening."
"There was a point in my childhood when I didn't have any friends, I was the lonely kid in the neighborhood, the kid who played by himself on the playground. But watching 'The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh' I didn't feel alone, I felt as though somebody cared. To me, all you guys were my friends. [Here he said: "Still are."] Thank you for being there when no one else is!" He was so impressed that he gave me a hug and said with Pooh Bear's voice: "Don't forget to stay as sweet as honey." And then in Tigger's voice: "And keep on bouncing." I'll admit we did a little bouncing there. Really just a sweet guy.
