The Downed Dragon

So for the longest time, I've wanted to draw Toothless, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get anything to look right... so I gave up.
Then, after seeing The Hidden World, (which was awesome by the way) I decided to give it another try. I still couldn't get a full head shot to look good, but I did manage this, which is fine because I just LOVE his eyes! 
All in all, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out! I tried doing something different this time around used airbrush for shading instead of the hard-cell shading like I usually do. Needs work but It's not too bad for a first try..!

I may try doing this kinda thing of the Light Fury to make a matching set! We'll see what time and motivation bring.
