The “display options” setting that allows you to select the maximum size of an image has now been added to presets in Studio, allowing you to easily set a default size for all future submissions.
To customize your presets, simply click the “Presets” option in your Studio. You can also create custom preset templates if you often submit different types of content with different preset needs, since something that works for your portrait photos may not be as applicable for your adoptables or emoticons!
DeviantArt’s current beta testing program launched in September of 2023, replacing the old beta testing program that had been in place for two decades. The username symbol tied to the previous beta testing program is officially being retired, and deviants who still have the symbol will receive a commemorative profile badge in its place.
Thank you to all previous and current beta testers for helping make DeviantArt a better place! If you want to join the beta testing program, add the journal to your favourites so you can be involved in future tests.
Manage and Schedule Journal Drafts in Studio by team, journal
Manage and Schedule Journal Drafts in Studio
Journal drafts are joining the party in the Studio! Previously, unfinished drafts of journals could only be found in the Posts tab on your Profile, but with this and a few other quality-of-life improvements, Studio is the one-stop place to manage needs of both your visual and written deviation drafts!
Manage Journal Drafts
In the Drafts section of your Studio, navigate to the "Journals" tab at the top, right next to "Media" and "Literature," and make any edits you need. Journal drafts are still available in their previous home in Profile > Posts > and selecting "Drafts" from the dropdown.
Schedule Journals
As with other types of content, you can now schedule journal drafts through your Studio. Simply go to Drafts > Journals > Click the “...” on the far right of the draft > Select "Schedule," and set your preferred publish time. You can also bulk schedule by checking the boxes to the left of each item and selecting from the "Edit" menu.

Dragonheart: Faith, Strength and Redemption
I ran down the road leading away from the school like the devil was on my heels; my heart pounding in my chest like a jackhammer.
“C’mon, Charlie!! Are you too scared to face me? Are you chicken?” Marc’s cackle rang in my ears, as did his friends’ laughter.
I only ran faster. “I’m done with you and your bastard friends, Marc!!” I shouted over my shoulder, picking up speed.

I only took a split-second glance, then looked ahead again, and put on a burst of speed.
My legs and lungs both burned, as my heart pounded.
The back lane leading home was closer now, but then...
Hearing a loud honk, I spun just in time to see a silver grill and headlights, but managed to catch a glimpse of the driver, a man clad in black, with long, greasy black hair, almost like Sirius Black from the ‘Harry Potter’ series!!
His grin
