SO...Ive been trying out the 'bedroom series' by which I get different people to strip off as much as their willing to and show them in their bedrooms hoping to capture the essence of their body image and how comfortable they are in their own skin. And also Ive been looking at image and text and ways of representing insecurities/oppinions by overlaying and projecting text on to nude/nearly nude bodies. Ive got some interesting results but theres something missing, Its difficult to get people to pose even semi nude let alone fully nude but I think more of a statement needs to be made. The message behind the images is stronger than the poses...

At the moment Im looking more into feminism and the artistic nude/semi nude. I want to look at creating a different style from some of my previous work but I will undoubtedly continue to shoot and upload some similar stuff on the side. I wanna look at the use of film and polaroids and go for more subdued colours unlike the vibrant style I normally prefer. I want my work to look artistic but a bit more realistic, I'll have to see how it goes, comments and constructive critique welcome =)
