Ok.
Lemme tell you first off.
I. LOVE. THIS.
This was inspired by a pic I found on FA. I wondered if drawing anthro puppies would be fun. And sure enough, it was. C:
SOOO yeah. You recognize everyone. Bolt, Misty, little Orion, and Stella. Even Mr. Carrot, which I think is an adorable touch. I have to say my FAVORITE out of all these is Orion. Just look at his cute little baby face!!
HAIR. Now, I know I asked you how Bolt's hair should look. But I decided he looks best without hair. HE'S BALD jk. And I made the puppies bald because, y'know, babies are bald. And you know me, I gave Misty my hair because hey. She's my fursona.
AGH I had no idea what to do for Bolt and Misty's shirts .___. The pups' clothes are supposed to mainly match their collars, but if I did that for Bolt and Misty, they'd both have dark red shirts. TT^TT Sooo I got creative.
ZOMG BOLT'S A DADDY. :I AND MISTY'S A MOMMY..
I know it looks like I made the lineart on the computer, but haha no. NONE of the lineart was done on the computer, only coloring. I didn't even trace. I was trying something new. I drew the lineart on paper and outlined with ultra-fine sharpie, and erased the pencil lines. Then I scanned it on the setting black and white--which only has the option of converting the colors to either black or white. So if you do that, it comes out nice and sharp and--after cleaning up the sketch a bit--you could color it in MS Paint even if you want with the fill bucket. O.O
O AND I PUT BOLT INTO REGULAR FORM BECAUSE ANTHRO BOLT FORM LOOKS WEIRD. :I
Now. I can see countless things wrong with this picture, but I won't name them all because then everyone would look at them. Just DON'T CRITIQUE ON ANATOMY. I hate human anatomy. I can pull it off nicely, but I hate it. I'm a canine artist. I mean look at Misty. I didn't know what to do with her right hand so I just... put it there. .___. And Bolt's tiny armsss
But I didn't feel so good when I was finishing this up, I had a bad headache and a tiny sore throat, and today my nose was running like crazy. But I refuse to think I have a cold because I just WAS sick. TnT SO IT'S ALLERGIES.
BUT OVERALL this is one of the best pieces of art I've ever drawn. Positive critique welcome, mild negative critique too. I have suggested critique if you look below
and I've never gotten one before. Don't be afraid to write me a critique if you have a subby!
