Description: Dot & Dash (also known as Dot and Dash) is an American animated comedy television series created by Henry and Shelly Clark. Originally produced by Primal Screen and HOT Animation for Noggin, the series aired from April 8, 2017, and is still airing to this day. The series chronicles the adventures of the titular duo, Dot and Dash, and the hijinks they get up to.

Dot & Dash has received worldwide critical acclaim since its premiere and had gained enormous popularity by the end of its first season, its high popularity has made it a media franchise. It is the highest rated series to air on Noggin as well as one of the most profitable properties for the HiT company, having generated over $18 billion in merchandising revenue as of 2023.

The Clarks began developing Dot & Dash into a television series in 2014, and in 2015, a twelve-minute pilot was pitched to multiple networks before landing on Junior HiT. Junior HiT's executives actually loved the pilot so much that they wanted it to be the series premiere. The executives also wanted the series to be toned down a bit due to the initial draft being a bit more "serious" for the network's target audience. HiT then acquired the rights to the duo from PBS, and asked Henry and Shelly if they can create a television series based on the characters they now own. The terms of the deal were that PBS can air Dot & Dash and can use them for the next 9 years. In 2022, the agreement between PBS and HiT expired and thus PBS Kids changed it's logo to avoid any confusion. Junior HiT and HiT Network quickly became the exclusive homes for new Dot & Dash episodes following this.

In the 3rd season, due to fan outcry; HiT introduced Moose and Zee to the Dot & Dash cast, in which they also got their own series and eventually became the mascots of Junior HiT (now renamed to Noggin).

The eighth season began airing in February 2024. The series has inspired 2 feature films: Dot & Dash's Wild Ride (2020) and Dot & Dash 2: In A Flash!, (2024). A third movie is currently in the early stages of development, its name is: Dot & Dash: On An Adventure!

As part of HiT's acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery, Dot & Dash made it's first premiere on Boomerang and Cartoon Network respectively.
