Afina is quiet formidable when it comes to transfiguration magic.
Specifically, she has found a way to use her skills in combat.
She uses the feathers on her cloak as both the armour and weapon, adjusting their properties to be harder, impenetrable.
For short periods of time she can convert them into a sort of wings, though that eats at her innate magic reserves and thus she uses it only in dire situations.
Afina's magic comes to her through her mother's bloodline.
In it's truest form, the people that possess it act as a living and breathing philosopher's stone, able to alter properties of both living and inanimate subjects.
Afina, however, is yet to try her magic on a person. She has never used it on her body either, even though it would potentially be able to make her fly or land punches with the strength of a thousand men.
Her mother had used on herself in front of young Afina, when she went back to the waters, altering the density of her body to not be able to float.
The horror of the incident has left it's mark on Afina, and because of that she has major subconscious blocks that limit her magic use.
She has recently started to dabble in alchemy to work through her self-imposed blocks, taking it as a more constructive and orderly approach to the discipline.
Spells:

Some of the feathers mold themselves onto her cane, effectively making it a light, but deadly weapon.
It is the least energy draining spell, Afina can use it without much strain or effect on her body or magic.
✧・゚The Raven's Armour ✧・゚
The feather's form into a full suit of armour, nearly impenetrable.
It works wonders against any sort of physical attack.
It brings up her defence, but at the slight expense of her high speed.
More mobility means more strain on her magic reservoirs.
So she is very careful about when and how she uses it.

In the rare instances that would call for it,
Afina can adjust the properties of the original armouring spell to heighten her resistance to magic.
That however quickly depletes her powers and energy in a major way.
She very rarely uses it.

The feathers form two enormous wings.
Very energy inefficient state, at least at this stage of Afina's magic level.
It can be used to fly for a very short period of time, or to land her softly if falling from tall heights.
If used, automatically withdraws some or all of the previously summoned armour to accommodate for their size.

You can leave to Afina to get a hard task done well and quick. She can win you over with boundless charisma and confidence, all the while converting you to her goal and ideologies.
However, Afina can be rather impatient with those whom she deems to be beneath her, often ruthless in her cold and calculated remarks. This shortcoming goes hand in hand with her generous spirit, as she is eager to bring people to her level in the areas she excels at. Once she deems you as one of her flock, she will do everything in her power to protect and help you.
There is nothing in the world that will stop her from trying to achieve her goals, for better or for worse.
Bio:
Afina had grown up in an opulent household. The signs of magic manifested very early on in her life. Her father, seeing that she had a great capacity for magic, had her tutored relentlessly, effectively wiping out her childhood. She was the second child born to him, but because her magics were considered to be stronger than her brother’s she was viewed as the favoured heir to her father.
It wasn’t until Afina was twelve that realized that her father dealt in rather dark and illegal business. Repulsed at first, she grew complacent overtime through unhealthy amounts of conditioned abuse targeted at her. She withdrawn completely from her brother, who at the time was her only real friend, the only one who could understand what she was going through.
It would be eight long years before she would wake up to her real self, but at a terrible price. Her brother had tried to go against their father. But knowing that he had no chance of overpowering the despot parent he had succumb to the worst sin - attempted malediction. Needless to say, it didn’t end well for anybody.
Afina had gained enough momentum and power to be able to separate herself from her father and his business to attend St. Spell. To her father she is there to hone her skill, but in her heart of hearts Afina wants to eradicate her father’s syndicate.

-> Doesn’t need a cane to walk, just like the aesthetic of it, as it also doubles as her wand.
-> Is a master swords-woman, using her cane in the capacity of a sword, especially after modifying it with her magic.
-> There is a little brass faerie on top of her cane, that she has created herself. She will often practice her magic on it, animating it and making it do simple tasks. She is trying to develop a method for the faerie to be an effective spying tool.
-> Has an obsession with studying malediction as a science. She is convinced that she can eventually come to master it. Because of that she wants to join house Bellatrix, as she heard that that would out her on fast track to actually coming face to face with malediction in all its glory.
