Freeze training in snow

This was his first time riding english in a while. He had suffered a bad fall once and since then he had been scared to even jump a cavelitti. Yet of course, here he was about to train one of the flightest horses in the stable for show jumping. With a sigh he pulled himself up on the stallion's back and trotted him out of the barn and towards one of the outdoor rings. He was much smaller compared to Devon's Elmas Zo Gryphie, but he was still dangerous. He decided to warm the stallion up buy trotting trough the snow around the rings before heading in. The indoor ring was too busy with set up for the show.
The stallion snorted, unimpressed by the cold weather. Despite his coat being thick he was grumpy. None the less he still listened to the human. He trotted along until he reached a deep patch and it brushed along his underside. In seconds he gathered his hind end under him and took off like a rocket, not stopping until the human pulled him short. Snorting he began to trot in place, trying to ligft his legs high enough that the snow wouldn't touch them.
"WHOA, this is jumping not dressage time bud." He laughed and relaxed in the saddle, enjoying the stallions antics.
