SCIENDOGS
A closed species by HermiTheHusky

BASICS
Sciendogs are a canine species created by people. Accidentaly, though. Noone knows how it happened... or these, who know it, want to keep it secret.
Dog DNA mixed with chemical elements?
Three forms matching with three main states of mattery?
Almost any of elements or chemicals possible to find or breed?
And also with their properties?
Even more smarter and powerful than normal dogs?
The best sciencist's and average person's companions ever existing?
It's strange for an accident, isn't it?

THREE FORMS
Solid -
Their bones are made from solid matteries, same with claws and shards located on their bodies in various places (neck, face, legs etc.)
Shards can protect solid Sciendogs. Broken shards regenerate over time, it takes few hours up to few days. They also can melt in too high temperature or burn (if flammable)
Liquid - Their bones are made from hardened/frozen liquids, same with claws and shards located on their bodies in various places (neck, face, legs etc.). Liquid Sciendog's shards are not that hard as solid's, can melt and vapourize easily (and also burn, if flammable), but regenerate much faster. They're always a little melted, so the liquid dripples from them.
Gas -  Their bones are made from hardened gas (how it's even possible?!), it also appears instead of shards on their bodies in form of steam clouds, that just stick to them. It doesn't give any physical protection and can burn (if flammable), but gas Sciendogs are able to float, glide and even fly, when they learn to.

PROPERTIES OF ELEMENTS
All Sciendogs "have" the properties of their elements/chemicals on shards/steam clouds and bones, but almost none on their body or fur.
It's a bit lowered, so Sciendogs aren't too weak or too dangerous for people because of their properties.
Their bones are almost invulnerable for burning, melting, vapourising etc. as long as they're hidden inside their bodies. The only weak parts are shards and steam clouds. Some of Sciendogs need to avoid too long contact with water, very high or very low temperatures etc. but it won't hurt them itselves (I mean their body) as long as it's not dangerous to dogs.

APPEARANCE
Average adult Sciendogs are as big as a german shepherd. Their fur is medium long, longhaired Sciendogs are rare. Fur's colour is natural (black, brown, white, can be blueish, reddish etc. as long as it looks naturally) and often matches with the element/chemicals' colour. It can have any markings, as long as they're natural-ish coloured and shaped. Hairstyle is varied but the most common is a little hair or no typical "hair".

BEHAVIOR
Sciendogs are very social, they love being with other Sciendogs or people, when being their pets. Even the wild ones aren't afraid of humans.
Wild Sciendogs live in groups of 10-15 members or with their own family (mate and pups). These groups have leaders, hunters, scouts, teachers for pups etc. just like a wolf pack. They play and hunt together. Sciendogs' groups live in peace, they don't like to fight with each other.
Domestic Sciendogs are loyal to their owners, learn very quickly to undestand the people's language and do things. They could do anything for them to make them happy and will protect them from other people and animals, if they will try to hurt Sciendog's owner.

OTHER INFORMATIONS
Every one Sciendog have a bottle on the neck, which contains a bit of their element or chemicals
Sciendogs are agile and active, they love running and jumping. They're also curious and very smart
They're invulnerable to their own and other Sciendogs' toxins or radiation
They're often seen in cities, forests and near factories or labs
Sciendogs are carnivorous, but can eat almost any food you can think of. It won't hurt them in any way
They cannot be sick like normal dogs, but they still can be wounded or break the bones
Every Sciendog is different. Different markings, different personality etc.
