Well, I've been in an accelerated program the past four months or so for certification as a behavioral health tech. It was a bit tough, especially as one of our classmates with whom I was fairly close lost his life a month ago, so I've been dealing with that. However, I have returned home and I'm spending a bit of time with the family before they go to Taiwan for the rest of the year. I'll be updating Horror U again in the next 2 weeks as I've managed to work a bit on it even during the packed schedule I've had. I'll be posting the cover image as a teaser today. So I'm at a transitional point in my career as I go from a decade of active duty in the military to doing part time in the National Guard for awhile. Thankfully, I do have a full time job lined up to start about a week after my term of service ends, and it's Federal so I should have some decent enough benefits to keep me going. Not having to dedicate so much time to the military - which honestly demands so much of your free time even outside of duty hours - and being able to stay home due to COVID-19 while still getting paid the last few months of my service has allowed me to start considering looking again at my dreams of making comics. I've already finished almost half of the first issue of Horror U, the cover of which I've posted here, and I'm considering ways to publish it.
