rock is the same one i used in the earth elemental the ones floating in the air, from stock xchng
sea also from stock xchng , but a lot of cutting and pasting before i got this.. 20 layers for the sea part alone in the front
fish and big fish tail are painted
hair is repainted in photoshop
skirt is repainted
birds and moon can be found in my own stock

The water elementals
Elementals are basicly known as nature spirits that emanate, interact and are one with a certain element or other creation of Nature. Do Not confuse them with Elemental ghosts because those are made by us ( golems and stuff like that ) The Elementals are divided up into four categories earth, water, air and fire, and each has his beings that are connected with it..

water elementals:
creatures :Nixen, Undines, Sirenes and watermen.
Water elementals are sensitive beings, who saved a lot from drowning, but when they saw somebody they like, they take them with them to the depts, not realising that people can't live in their element. sirens are more dangerous, they actually aren't afraid to kill humans who crosses their path..
they live in Lakes, springs, streams, rivers, beaches, oceans, wells...
when you want to call them you need water, some kind of green light, and a lotus kind of smell that need to be burned.

this is my interpretation of the water elemental, i choose for a sirene, waiting for a ship to pass , when she starts to cry, the waves are getting higher and higher like there is a huge storm on his way ...so she can start to sing, so the ship will crash on the rocks.. the big fishtail, and the little fish are creatures that are also connected with the element water
