I'm updating my bio because the last one was here for God knows how long, and I want to have a fresh breath of newness for the account. And also, TOO many of it was cheesy, like YIKES
Putting this up here until I can think of a better bio.

Hello
Thank you !
Don't trust GoodGuyforever18. Must block him! He's a lair and a thief and he harasses people constantly! He conned me into drawing this picture for him and then he steals it and he's doing it to others. Please block him to protect yourself!
Hello I'm here for the OC-Training critique task. Thank you for your patience, by the way.
First off, I love Jolie's design. Her color scheme and aesthetic gives me honey-and-wildflowers mixed with punk vibes. I particulalry loved her anger shot with people messing with her hair. As someone with curly hair, it annoys me to no end when someone just decides to grab my hair like I'm some stray dog on the road.
Jolie seems to be quite the spunky girl with a silly side to her as well. I can respect someone who keeps trying at something they aren't good at (in her case, cooking).
I tried looking around your gallery for more on Jolie, but couldn't find much. Is she a Pokemon OC? The style seems very similar. Or do you just draw a lot of inspiration from the show with your designs?
I don't know if it was on purpose, but some parts of her character seem vague to me still. Abandonment is a common fear, but is there a particular reason why she fears it? Was she abandoned in the past by someone close to her (either purposeful or maybe accidental, like from death)? Does she have a hard time connecting with people and often gets ghosted? I know not everything has to have some deep meaning (like how I hate bananas), but it helps a character become more sympathetic or relatable.
Thank you for your critique! (sorry for the late response, I had to shift all my focus into finishing the OC-Training tasks on time ^^)
I'm glad you like Jolie! Yes, she does have a slight punk vibe to her, which compliments her more her "girly" side. I may have to focus a bit more on the punk side in the future ^^
Jolie is a long time OC I created at the beginning of my time here on DA, but after some time I decided to use her again earlier this year. Jolie had inspirations from all sorts of places, but the one that is coming to me right now is Mario Golf Advance Tour on the Game Boy Advance. Pokemon is one of my many inspirations for her, though not a major one.
And yes, me being vague with Jolie's character was on purpose. Jolie is not a character I fully grasp as yet, and I didn't want to push her character in an unforeseeable direction without understanding her. I wanted to figure out who she was through the feedback and interactions in the OC-training; to get a feel of what resonates with my audience and what aspects of her character to focus on. So yes, there is a reason why she fears abandonment, but I am not 100% on what it is as yet. But I know that she hangs out with a friend I created around the same time as Jolie, who helps her get by life each day. It is for that reason why I used his silhouette in the Jolie fear picture as a central point for attachment, as well as using his hands in the Task 5 Personal Life piece.
Thanks again! ^^
