What does it take to ruin character growth? A question for the moment that is not talked about much until it's been noticed. In stories it comes in many forms such as character choices like how a character never changes, others is how they change to follow a desired story from its creator or outside forces. In Role play this is the same in the same way but with more influencers that can make one character become stuck and stagnant. Some may say creation restrictions could be one reason but am talking more about restrictions that were imposed during the character’s existence. Today I would like to do another dive into the history of a character and then look at where they stand now. How choices of the past hurt the character so much that when returning to the character now leaves a bad feeling due to the past still linger on them. No matter how much you attempt to change them you can never be rid of that character’s history. No matter how much paint you can use to try and change them.
