Happy Juneteenth/Emancipation Day 2024!

As it is June 19th 2024, it’s Juneteenth 2024! Juneteenth (coming from June and nineteenth) is a holiday, commemoration, celebration and observation on the abolishment and ending of slavery of African-Americans back on June 19th 1865 in the United States due to the Emancipation Act and Proclamation being enforced by President Abraham Lincoln and General Gordon Granger, with it being first enforced on Texas on June 19th 1865; declaring all enslaved African-Americans free from slavery however it’s said that it took 2 years and 6 months for it to be fully implemented and enforced in all 50 states of the US, and ever since then Juneteenth is considered to be a commemorative and important cultural holiday for the abolition of slavery for the Black-American community, with it finally being considered a national holiday back in 2021 and while slavery was finally abolished and erased, racial tensions and problems like segregation, suppression, supremacy, inequality, injustice and oppression have been consistent and persistent throughout but we managed to maintain progression and prosperity despite the hardships.
