Description
This has been sitting on my desktop since the middle of December and is one of the sketches I did for Inktober 2020 - #15 - Outpost (Inktober 2020) by aurora-cs on DeviantArt
The sketch pretty much stayed the same, except I improved on the tree a little - I'm quite pleased with how it turned out, namely the reflection on the water and the shadows, but also the pose - I'm trying to vary my poses of my characters a bit, do more full-length figures and stop hiding their arms behind their backs. I also went back to my lineless colouring, which takes a while, but I enjoy doing.
On a side note, I hope everyone is doing well in these horrible times; sadly, I lost my dad in January to Covid-19 and it has been a hard thing to adjust to, so to anyone who is going through anything similar, I'm sending a great big hug xxx
