Wow here we are down to the last week of 2024 already, this year went by so fast! But it was a great one, and I'm looking forward to 2025!!! Merry Xmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy New Year!!!!

Today is a very somber 20 year anniversary, it's the 20th anniversary of the day that "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott, guitarist of Pantera and Damageplan, was shot on onstage at a Damageplan concert in Columbus OH by a mentally deranged fan, wow can't believe that was 20 years ago already!!! It was a horrific senseless tragedy that should have never happened, and Dime is still missed by metalheads worldwide 20 years later! And unfortunately Pantera's Vinnie Paul is gone now too, he passed away from heart failure in 2018 And of course, Dimebag Darrell was not the only one who lost his life that night, also killed at the concert were 2 fans and Damageplan's personal security guard who tried to stop the abysmal Nathan Gale, they gave their lives to try to save others, and they are still deeply missed by their families 20 years later too! Today is a very sad day for Iron Maiden fans worldwide, original Iron Maiden vocalist Paul Di'Anno has passed away at age 66 Paul was Maiden's first vocalist, from 1978 to 1981, and then Bruce Dickinson joined in 1982, and while Bruce is the iconic voice of Maiden, Paul Di'Anno was still a great singer too, I love his work with Maiden's first 2 albums.. I will be uploading tons of Iron Maiden stuff in his memory through the next few days RIP Paul Di'Anno, thanks for your great talent!
