I've made the decision to completely restart the Pokemon project.
The whole point of it was to help me get more comfortable with drawing for fun and drawing however I wanted to through the lens of a beloved and familiar franchise, but I've noticed that I've fallen back into the rigidity of NEEDING to make sure the pokemon looked more similar to the official art rather than allowing myself to have fun with drawing (and even when using elements of my own style, I limited myself to using highly specific brushes to keep up some kind of visual pattern, which sucked). I'm still very happy with most of the drawings I've done for it, but they don't hold the creative and fun energy that I wish for them to have.
The speedpaints are also going to be made in a very different way, due to me imposing limitations through them of things like "10 per video" and "they all have to be done on my laptop for authenticity's sake" (which is why it was so hard to get them done quickly. I have chronic pain
