Howdy! Please, call me Alan. I'm an artist that loves to draw and do leatherwork; recently I've been trying to turn my hobby as an artist into a side hustle. I also love writing evil dialogue and scenes! Just something about creating horrible and devious characters is just so fun.
I feel that. I've been on this site since I was 14 or 15, and I'm about to turn 30. To see it decline this much over time is disheartening. Worse yet is the clear message that DA doesn't give a shit about the artists that use their site.
I myself am currently looking at my options as far as where to go. Once I decide then I'll probably delete my DA and move on. Which is a shame because there are a handful of comics I read on here. But, seeing as those people are also leaving then there is even less reason for me to stay here. If nothing else I have a FA and I might just increase my activity there until I find another place to be. I, also, have my own personal site (which I always update first), but unless someone gets lucky when they are searching Google they aren't going to find my website.
