MAM is my initials and an acronym for my artist name, Made As Man. Mam, refers to the word mum, or madam, meaning mother, so being born as and identifying as a man; my name represents duality and the balance of masculine/feminine energy. I've been doodling collage style art with ink since I was in middle school, and in 2012 I began experimenting with adding colored pencils. My art is heavily influenced by the shamanic journey, with themes of duality and simplistic cartoon styles.

In 2015 I moved to Asheville, NC to take a break from traveling and art to pursue massage therapy. Then in 2020 I felt inspired to pursue my passion for the arts again and have since committed myself to sharing it with the world.

Besides drawing, I'm also a fire performance artist with over a decade of experience in poi manipulation. I also produce music and DJ through the alias name, Murder A Myth, which is a heavy electronic mashup project.
