Mikal draws inspiration from a variety of sources. Art and creativity have give him the opportunity to face his tribulations tribulations with anxiety and depression in a constructive and inspirational way. His early works are heavily influenced by his struggles with depression, while his later and most recent works are reflections of places his art has taken him in life and how he has felt at that time.
Mikal finds peace and serenity in his creative endeavours through the freedom of expression and inspiring others with his paintings.
Mikal has works that are held in private and public collections in several countries. His work has also been featured in several galleries, shows and exhibitions including the North by North East Music Festival and NOW Magazine. Impressionism, photography and abstract art. Commissions by request.
