Widely ApartSeparated from each other, half by our own choices, half by others', we watch the world change at a dizzying pace. What will we make of our own lives and what will we add to others', and is it best to do it together or isolate? Will we avoid or clash with enemies, can we make friends with them, and is it worth the effort or a waste of time better spent on those we know and care about? These are some of the questions that face us in the U.S. as the mid-term election approaches, but they are also questions for all places and times. Today's features illustrate such thoughts, adding themes of autumn, color explosions, and triumph over adversity. There's a new category which I hope to include more often, and as ever, please enjoy the music at the end.
