I really don't understand why people feel bad for Scootaloo. She's learned to accept her disability.

All Griffons have names that begin with a G. Sort of like how all Vulcans in Star Trek have an S in their name. Greta was a backgrounder in The Lost Treasure of Griffonstone, and her name is mentioned quite clearly.
