The man that became the Raven Knight was born in the Realm of the Knights during the dark years of the Wars of the Night. As the Armies of the Night finally was defeated and the young man join the Order and in only a few years he became a Knight-Errant before join the Paladins at the wishes of the Paladin Lord himself. As the young man become a fully Knight of the Order he chose a raven as his heraldry earning him the title the Raven Knight. Only a year after being knighted the Raven Knight asked the Council of Knight Lords to be allowed to travel the world with his retinue and the Council approved. Because of rumors that the armies of the Inquisitorial Empire still were fighting small bands of the Undead left over from the Wars of the Night.
