Description
Whelp this sure took me a little while to post loll Sorry about that!
So ... I suppose this is the start of a new portrait series, inspired by my previous OC and prophet portraits. (It’s also a test run for enamel pin ideas, so feel free to let me know what you think! XDD)
I started with Finarfin’s children, then moved onto Fingolfin’s. At some point, I thought about doing the entire extended family -- like, including Finarfin and Eärwen and their grandkids would make for a ten-image post on the Arafinwëans (not including Eldalótë and Celeborn loll).
However, my motivation is only for Finwë’s grandchildren at present XDD I wanted to elaborate a bit on my old designs for them, but not much has changed. I’ve also brought in the holding-symbolic-objects theme from my OC works:

- Fingon holds the harp that he brought to Thangorodrim; the background's pillars are supposed to be in Fingolfin’s Hithlum fortress
- Turgon holds his staff of doom; the background features the fountains of Gondolin
- Aredhel holds an arrow since she’s into hunting; the background was originally going to be the forests of Nan Elmoth, but I changed it to open plains
- Argon holds a necklace from Fingon, a reference to his close bond with his brother, which is more of a headcanon than anything else since there’s not much info on him, sadly; the background features the moon, which rose when Fingolfin’s host arrived in Middle-earth and promptly entered the Battle of the Lammoth, which is where Argon died
