Description
I was going to do some pose practice, but I kinda liked this one so instead I just... ended up spending more and more time on it xD
I eventually ended up trying to turn it into a character I have... Then I tried to make her standard clothing... Which didn't work at all so instead I tried to do a dress... Which didn't really work... So I decided to just but down some painterly blotches in he hope it would eventually kinda turn into some sort of dress shape... Which kiiinda worked xD
I added some icy shapes in the background and misty effects, which pulled things up quite a bit, but I really dunno how to portray ice magic... It's also pretty hard to find nice references or even inspiration for YxY
I also couldn't find a nice colour to put in the upper left corner. I tried every colour and I just dunno what to make of it. QxQ
Still, I'm quite happy going back to doodles after way too much time on a single commission xD

This is gorgeous. You made the dress work in such a way that it makes perfect sense to have it emulate ice shards without it being horribly overdone. Very nice piece.
