I suggest you to try this:
- Scan your image (ink or pencils...) in grayscale. You should be able to select this on your scanning program.
- When you've got this, put it in a layer on multiply mode.
- Create more layers below to apply colors.
If lines on line layer still a bit dirty, try using levels console.
Go get that PS7 and try this
