Characters Sketches

Some sketches I've been doing for the past months, while I was hardly working for my (luckily just complete) design lab.
1st YEAR OF MASTER IS OVER.

Maybe I'll start uploading stuff again, but don't expect anything!

Anyway I like these guys. They're part of a possible storyline I'm outlining...

The big tough guy on the left is not a bad guy: actually he's supposed to replace the old character of the "professor initiator". He's a sort of "adventurer", not at all a Dragon Type Trainer, that would introduce the main character in the Pokémon world.

On the right we have two couples of grandparents+grandchildren.
The grandparents are "sages", guardians of temples. The granny is an Earth priestess, the bold grandpa is an Ocean minister.

The green-haired granddaughter is researcher, and she is against the heavy exploitation of the soil and the overbuilding in natural areas. She is really connected to her grandma.

On the other hand, the blue-haired kiddo is a spoiled, wealthy and moody boy that hates the old and dusty beliefs that his grandpa uses to tell him all the times.


Anyone wants to help me with the names? (:
Suggestions?


The first names that came to my mind were really simple:

- Terra for the girl: in italian means "Earth". Pretty basic;
- Lawton for the cool adventurer: I don't know, it sounded powerful for some reasons to me... like if it is a mixture of the words "law", which represents "authority" or a hieratical person, and "megaton" that gives the idea of power;
- Tara for the old lady: a simple variation from Terra;
- Eadweard for the old man: I like it just because it sounds old lol;
- Edwin for the boy: just like for Terra and Tara.


So...
