What started the Vietnam War?
August 5, 1964
After North Vietnamese torpedo boats allegedly attacked the U.S.S. Maddox and U.S.S. Turner Joy in the Gulf of Tonkin, President Johnson ordered the retaliatory bombing of military targets in North Vietnam. Congress soon passed the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution, which gave Johnson broad war-making powers.

Bad areas.
Growing up in the 90s my brother would say to me.
"Beenleigh, Logan Central and Browns Plaines are bad areas to go or be in or live in and you should not go there".
He'd say things like "They are full of drugs addicts, thieves and criminals"
So for many many years I believed him but one day I had passed throw these areas and I must say it's not all that bad as he said it is.
Beenleigh:
Beenleigh was a bit rough I'll admit, I did see two women fighting there the fist time I was at the Beenleigh train station but I've come to learn/know there is crime everywhere in every area or city's no matter where you go or live.
Logan Central:
My mum said that Logan central used to be/have one road and there were not so many shops in the 70s when she was there and it was not so green with tree's and I've seen old photos of the area in the 70s on the net and Logan Central looked kinda yuck in the 70s, thank god they planted tree's and it looks a lot greener now...Logan central is
