The future is where you place your attention. We collectively bring reality into existence with each of our thoughts, and then actions. Thus, your attention is the currency of reality. Be mindful whom, or what commands it, if not you. There are: 1. Fine artists of the representational nature. 2. Sunday painters, those who don't have the discipline to reach the heights of their capabilities due to time constraints, discipline, or other excuses. 3. AI generators, those who have neither the discipline, nor time to endeavor in the realm of creation, but seek the fruits the activity yields. If you use AI for final image generation, this excludes you from being an "Artist". If you use it as reference this is no different than using the internet for inspiration, and does not exclude you. If you don't label your art as AI generated it just makes you among other things, an obvious fraud. In short there is nothing wrong with AI except for people's dishonest hearts. I've started to include photos of my paintings on site to provide a Proof of Work. Real physical art, that passed through a brain, and then unto hands that make specific marks will become more scarce, as the skill becomes less and less common. Scarce things are worth more.
