No. Thank you. You're right about me using my poetry as an outlet (most of it anyway), and it's nice to talk to someone who does the same thing. I don't usually have trouble sharing my work, as even my most emotional pieces bring me joy when someone connects with them like you said. This poem was different however. I couldn't even read it when I finished it, and even after so long it was still difficult to get through. I finally decided to share it with someone close to me, and I was then encouraged to post it with the rest of my work. I wasn't so much "apprehensive" as "terrified" about sharing this one. If you've read the rest of my work, you might've guessed that I prefer to project a strong image to those around me, so you can imagine how hard it is to show this side of myself. But I'm glad I did. You're comment alone was worth it, and I hope I am able to connect to more people. So again, thank you, very much.
