Chapter 2 Of The Salty History :
The moon was waning, and the trees spoke as the wind caressed their leaves. It might have been scary, but Anele wasn’t afraid because he was in company and had a new friend to help. They were coming to the first nearby city when the sun came out, and the fish spoke as they passed through an old warehouse. There, we must enter! Inside, it looked all dark, covered with cobwebs, old, and sad, but beyond all that gloomy atmosphere, there was a brightness that came from a box with a singular shape. Anele followed his instinct and kept it with the will not to waste time. She asked, Now where? But the fish remained silent.
In order not to waste time, she left the fish in the shop and went to ask the locals about that place, and they told her that a mother used to live with her son. She fabricated positions that cured diseases and helped people sleep. She was a kind person, but her son was very rebellious and ambitious. He only knew how to lie, and his greatest desire was eternal youth, for which he implored his mother to find a remedy that would achieve that. There wasn’t a potion on earth that could do that, but she tried day and night until she thought she had done it, yet she had sacrificed so much that she vanished to never wake up again. His son felt a sadness so deep that he could only face it with anger, throwing to the ground all the positions and, consequently, being splashed by several. He became a horrible being. It is said that he ran away; no one knew anything more about him. Anele, making use of reason, considered that being in the form of a winged fish could be that young man. His mind was filled with questions, and when she returned to look for him, she did not find him. She ran to the courtyard of that place and saw a man with familiar features and a very sad look holding a key.
