I was always curious and interested in almost all kind of arts, movies, comics, music, etc.

Means,  not just one favorite movie, artist, music etc.

So I can tell if I like it when I see it (or hear it, for music).

Also did some artwork on my own just to see how it works and to have fun.

I grew up spending a lot of time in the city. In the city you have more contact to all kind of people.

I also like to travel and see foreign cultures. Anyway, travel was never an obsession. One can never see everything, that earth has to show. (Even then, there is a continuous change to everything in this world. So, always keep your eyes open). Maybe this is one reason why I like DeviantArt, to keep an eye on this fascinating world, into which we are all born.

On the other side, I was always happy coming home. For many years I live at the countryside, having a lot of nature around me. So I spend a lot of my free time outside, often with my smartphone which is used most of the time as a camera. This is why many of my deviations are nature photography.

I like the idea of open source, so for cropping or sometimes manipulating pictures I use Linux with gthumb or gimp.

Interestingly, I often find very different types of deviations in the galleries of the artists referred to in my favorites. Some deviations suit my taste, some don't.

If I look at the favorites of these artists, again completely different types of images may appear.

Browsing through a lot of deviations, pays for itself whenever I find a deviation that I like. (Thank you all).

Remember: Better work together than against each other. People can achieve great things, if they work together. And life is much more pleasant if you don't have to wrangle all the time. Treat your fellow human beings with tolerance, peace and respect where possible. Since the only person you can change, may be yourself.
