last blue breath

I love the faint paint style and the way it looks natural, as if the liquid is dripping from the butterfly. I love the detail of the neutral facial expression. I love how you haven't used common earthly colours and the purple makes this face stand out in a beautiful vibrance also the mouth falling apart gives a feeling of motion the he is only there briefly. The white space works wonderfully for this piece, I do think the butterfly might possibly work well being smaller. But I am delighted with the darkness of the blue to make it the eye catching part of this piece. I love the way you have kept the blemishes in this piece instead of photoshopping them, it just make me think of a simpler time in art history.
