Lou sets out on her journey with Feldermaus, knowing her herd can handle her time away. Her new friend Kor and his tribe are happy to watch over them while she seeks answers. She chose Feldermaus because he was there when she started her journey, fleeing her brother's rule and traveling as one of her most beloved mounts. He's not thrilled to go riding off in the middle of the night in search of answers but the ornery stallion obeys as she rides off into the night.
