OS Date Rape

A call at 2 in the morning is never a good way to start the day. Especially a long distance call from South Korea.
Harry rubbed his eyes as he held the black cordless to his ear. "Hello?" He mumbled into the receiver.
"Ah, hello, have we reached Ocotillo Stables?"
Harry was thrown by the accent for a moment, but quickly recovered and reached for his glasses. "Yes, what can I help you with?"
He knew a lot of stables were in different time zones and countries but if this person was calling to set up a breeding he might just have to hang up.
"This is Officer Kim with the South Korean police department,"
Harry shot up in bed, okay this was a first. "What can I do for you officer?"
"Well, you see we got a call on some abandoned horses and went to look into it. It seems a stable sold some horses and moved and the new owners never came and got them. They've been left to their own for nearly 4 months."
"I'm sorry but what does this have to do with our stable?"
"Well we didn't think anything at first but we found the horses papers. Two of them were bred by your stable. Lets see, Date Rape and... Silver Diva."
Harry thought they sounded familiar but didn't know off the top of his head. Ashylin must have sold them before Harry had become Co-owner.
"The stable you sold them to was notified but we're not willing to release them to them at this moment. We'd like to know what you would like us to do with the animals."
Harry was quiet for a good time, his eyebrows scrunched up. "How bad are they."
"Their not in, how you say, mint condition, but they're recovering. The stallion is a little worse then the mare but we think that's due to over breeding. "
Harry sighed. "Once they're strong enough, we'll pay to have them shipped to the states."
"Oh good, we will be in contact with you over email. Have a good day sir."

*3 weeks later

Connor and Harry stood at the Flagstaff airport terminal.
The vet in South Korea had given the horses the okay to fly and immediately the horses had been packed up and shipped to Arizona.
Connor had remembered the pair, he had been the vet for both their births.
A prop job cargo plane taxied to the terminal stopping at the correct place.
The cargo that came off was not a sight for sore eyes.
The two skinny horses looked to be at death's door.
Rolling their eyes and flipping their unruly tails. The employees quickly handed them off to Connor and Harry who started checking them over as fast as they could. Striping the old pitiful tack they had been sent over in off and putting on Ocotillo's soft shipping tack.
Connor and Harry gave each other a meaningful look before leading the horses to the trailer. They knew this was going to be a lot of work.
