How far will one go to acquire power? To some, this means climbing the corporate ladder. For others, the path to power is a dark one that will forever dominate their lives. When one goes in pursuit of power, they ride the fine line between extinguishing monsters and becoming one. Such a story will be told today.
The Ascension of Bagan.
Who is Bagan?
Was he naturally born, birthed in a test tube, or grown in some eldritch cocoon?
How did his masters acquire DNA from certain Kaiju, that being the ‘Atomic Dragon’ and the ‘Gravity Dragon’?
Why did his masters cast aside Bagan- did they fear his power. . . or did he turn against them?
No. One. Knows.
Not a single living soul how this “Madness Death God” came to be. The only clue is a passage written in Hindu. Below is the translation:
“One shudders to imagine where this dark god came from. Some speculate it came from the very depths of Hell itself to punish humanity for their sins. Others say that it was the creation of a mad god

“Kaiju can be described in many ways. Some are considered magnificent, many are described as monstrous, and some are truly misunderstood. But there is one Kaiju in particular that can be described as all three of these.”
That would be “Katsura’s Titanium Lizard.”- Chitanosaurus katsurai. Better known as Titanosaurus. (No relation to the dubious sauropod. . . )
Her magnificent nature comes from her size and how she can effortlessly swim the depths of the ocean. Her monstrous aspect comes from being a kaiju. . . but it’s being a misunderstood monster that has captured the attention of science.
Her appearance brings to mind Spinosaurs; in fact, analysis of shed teeth reveals her to be a highly derived Spinosaur. This group of theropods are hypothesized to be semi-aquatic piscivores, eating fish. But when sea levels rose, they vanished. . . or so we thought.
Titanosaurus saw the rising sea levels as an opportunity to expand into the ocean. The threat of large marine predators forced

There’s been a trend of several kaiju that have been protectors of ancient civilizations. Most of them are natural with some mystical elements such as the Divine Moths while others were created such as Majin Tuol. What about option 3: a little bit of both.
Enter King Caesar. For decades, many wondered about the origins of this Kaiju from Okinawa who combines aspects of Bears, Cats, & Dogs. Second was the fact that many of his features are bizarre- CT scans show that his body contains gold bones and concrete-like armor. This led to many assuming King Caesar to be artificially made, a giant statue brought to life.
The answer is different. To find the truth, travel back just 80,000 years ago.
King Caesar is the last of his kind.
The last surviving member of a carnivoran lineage, the Ailuroursids “Cat bears”. They were found across East Asia during the Miocene; by the Pleistocene era, they had declined to be found in just Japan.

For every character out there, there will be a mechanical version. And perhaps the most famous is Mechagodzilla. In Age of Titans, there’s several versions; the focus on this one is the mass-produced original created by the Simians, a race of aliens that bear resemblance to Earth non-human primates.
Earth has been spied upon by countless aliens over the decades. Perhaps among the first are the Simians. Resembling alien primates, they’re homeworld Wakadia is slowly being destroyed by a black hole. Several fled their homeworld- living among the stars, others establishing colonies on other systems. Earth came to their attention sometime in the late 50s.
They released several probes across the galaxy to find a habitable planet to live on. One of these probes found Earth and began studying it, learning what & who lived there. Our primitive tech was easily hacked, the probe absorbing knowledge about our world, along with what & who lived on it- the dominant race (humans) and the

The only word to describe how the Garogas were after Zone Fighter had slain Terror Beast after Terror Beast is. . . LIVID.
So they began Operation: Starfall. Instead of sending out just one Terror Beast, they would unleash a whole army of them! But what is an army without someone to lead them into battle? So they created a new Terror Beast to lead 6 others that had been chosen- Jikiro, Wargilgar, Spylar, Joro Uros, Moguranda, & Bakugon.
This new Terror beast was given the scientific name of Tentaculucimex thanatogeneralis. “Death General Tentacle bug.” Common name: Kabutogira.
The bizarre appearance comes down to Kabutogira being a genetic hybrid. The full list of donors is unknown, with only 4 having been recognized- Oodako, Kamacuras, Kumonga, & Ganimes.
From Oodako- excellent vision, multiple arms/tentacles, regenerative powers, extreme intelligence, & bony mouthparts.
From Kamacuras- bladed arms, a spiky exoskeleton, compound eyes, powerful muscles to strike at high speed, &

Horses are one of those mammal groups that are well known- being seen as majestic, beautiful, & strong. Horses come in countless breeds: some are stocky & muscular used for pulling for heavy loads while others are slender & well muscled for racing, and even others are decorated for showing off.
While some are familiar with the evolution of horses- going from forest-dwelling animals no bigger than a small dog to where they are now- many aren’t familiar with a lesser known group of odd-toed hoofed mammals related to horses: the Chalicotheres. There are two subfamilies, with the main focus for today being the Chalicotheriinae.
To give an idea of these strange hooved mammals, Take the head of a horse, shorten the skull, the body of a gorilla, and arms that end in 3 claws that are curled up when knuckle-walking to keep them sharp. While effective weapons in combat, these claws were mainly used for pulling down branches to feed on the softest of leaves. The most recent members died out

Not too long ago, we covered a Terror Beast that was made using the corpse of a ground sloth, Moguranda. Today’s profile is on a different Xenarthan that is made into a cyborg, the anteater. Despite their somewhat goofy appearance- long, toothless snout, and a bushy tail- along with a diet of colonial animals.
You would think that the giant anteater wouldn’t be a threat. You would be wrong. At least 3 people have been killed by one, all out of defense. There’s even a case of a fight between a giant anteater and a jaguar, and both died! This is because their claws are designed to rip into the concrete-hard clay castles of ants & termites. Going through flesh is much easier.
So imagine one scaled up to Kaiju size. Enter Bakugon, Formicavoro pyronychus- the “Fire Claw anteater”.
Unlike Moguranda, which was made from a corpse, Bakugon was an existing kaiju found asleep in a cave somewhere in the Pampas. Captured, the Kaiju was augmented with Garoga

Bounty hunting is a complicated profession- you need to know what or who you’re going up against, have the right gear for the job, and determine if the job is really worth it, just to name a few of the requirements.
Are there Kaiju bounty hunters? Surprisingly. . . yes. And arguably the deadliest in the galaxy is a unique ‘duo’. The Twin Alien Bounty Hunter- Geminixenos largitavenator. Better known as Goram.

There are many means of movement- walking, running, slithering, swimming, flying. By far the most unique is rolling. While no macro animal can move like a car on wheel, due to muscular contractions not being possible to perform such a feat of engineering, there are some that can curl into a ball as a means of defense and/or escaping predators.
A good example is the pangolin & the three-banded armadillo. A more obscure vertebrate is the armadillo girdled lizard which curls into a ball, its mouth gripping the tongue to maintain a round shape. These animals may roll passively (under the influence of gravity or wind) or actively, typically by altering their shape to generate a propulsive force.
There are kaiju that do this too. Anguirus can roll into an armored ball to move around very quickly. In order to make turns properly and/or come to a sudden stop, his skin secretes a fluid that grants traction when spinning. How does he know where to go? By using his acute hearing to determine
