The DBFZ is represented at a large number of trade fairs and congresses. In addition, we are also organizers of various large events such as the DBFZ Annual Conference, the Forum Science Management, etc.

The 8th Hydrothermal Processes Expert Forum will take place on 12 and 13 November 2024 at the DBFZ in Leipzig. It deals with the entire value chain of hydrothermal conversion, starting with the raw materials, processes and technological implementation, through to the products and the associated framework conditions and their legal framework. This year's forum will present current developments. The focus will be on hydrothermal liquefaction, hydrothermal synthesis of sustainable chemicals and hydrothermal processes as thermochemical biomass pre-treatment. The event will be held in English.

KIDA-KON aims to bring together stakeholders from the scientific and regulatory environment to discuss the challenges and opportunities of using artificial intelligence in the field of agrifood research. The conference is also intended to give young scientists in particular the opportunity to present their work and to network professionally.
