The CTP Regulator is an independent statutory authority. We regulate and monitor South Australia's CTP insurance scheme.
The Regulator is responsible for:
- Regulating the CTP Insurers
- Setting CTP premiums
- Setting the terms and conditions of the Policy of Insurance
- Monitoring, auditing and reviewing the CTP Scheme
- Providing information to the public about CTP insurance
- Making, monitoring and reviewing the Regulator Rules.

Motor Accident Injury Accreditation Scheme (MAIAS)
The CTP Regulator also adminsters the MAIAS. MAIAS accredits health professionals to perform Injury Scale Value (ISV) medical assessments.
