As a cosmopolitan and international campus, TUM Campus Straubing values the diversity of all its members. Different experiences, skills, ways of seeing and thinking are the cornerstones for excellent performance in research, teaching and studies.
We work closely with the University Women's Representative, the Equal Opportunity Officer and the Vice Deans for Talent Management and Diversity at TUM. Furthermore, we are in constant exchange with all other offices that are committed to the topics of equal opportunities, diversity and anti-discrimination at TUM and at the Straubing site. Core dimensions of diversity at TUM Campus Straubing are gender, sexual identity, age, ethnic and social origin, people with special needs and world views. TUM Campus Straubing recognizes diversity and is committed to equal opportunities in order to develop strengths from it.
The Women's Representative participates in the Institute Council and the Study Faculty Council of the TUM Campus Straubing as a voting member. She continuously supports the equal opportunity work in the equal opportunity conferences and works closely with the TUM Equal Opportunity Officer.
The Vice Dean for Talent Management & Diversity is closely interlinked with the team of women's representatives at TUM CS. Equal opportunity and talent development, especially for mid-level faculty and tenured professors, are part of the mission. She is a member of the Talent Management and Diversity Board of TUM and thus in regular exchange with the Vice Deans of the other Schools. In the future, reports from the Talent Management & Diversity Board will also be part of the meeting of the extended university presidium.
