What's It About?

WOMEN OF MARVEL is a conversational podcast where hosts Ellie and Preeti dig deep into the backstories, creation, theories, and future of Marvel's women superheroes. Guests include writers from hit movies like Black Panther to discuss the process behind creating their fiercest female characters. Each episode follows themes of female empowerment and teamwork, highlighting the impact these characters have on young girls both in the Marvel Universe and the real world. Episodes are geared towards superhero fans who want to learn more about the ins and outs of the writing, brainstorming, and overall creation of these characters as well as the theories behind their origin stories and relationships.

Celebrating women and highlighting unsung superheroes in the Marvel Universe, this podcast is out of this world. Women of Marvel does a great job providing listeners with interesting tidbits behind the creation of superhero favorites, woven in with positive messages these characters promote for women and girls. Many episodes highlight teamwork in a way that doesn't feel forced, but is inspirational. Lighthearted jokes and banter between the hosts keep episodes fun for all ages. Some episodes feature celebrity guests like Angela Bassett to discuss Black Panther and Iman Vellani to discuss Ms. Marvel which make the show especially exciting for longtime superhero fanatics. This podcast will surely encourage empowerment for young girls and is a great fan show for all Marvel lovers.
