The Mandalorian Parents Guide
Rated TV-14 for sci-fi action and violence
Sex & Nudity
It's mentioned a male alien species is killed during 'mating'
A character makes a brief remark to The Mandalorian about visiting the "Twi'lek healing baths," although the offer is promptly ignored.
In chapter 6, characters make fun of a seemingly separated couples sexual relationship and make mild suggestive references. When they found out baby yoda was found in the mandalorians ship, one character remarked, "Did you two make this?". Other than that there's nothing else remotely inappropriate.
Violence & Gore
We see a man get cut in half. The action happens off screen, but his legs are seen briefly after it occurs
The more graphic violence is completely off screen or cleverly hidden.
Not very violent, but probably still a bit more violent than average Star Wars. There is no blood or gore, but some of the deaths are pretty brutal. These including being burned to death, being cut in half, a hammer being smashed into a stormtroopers face (all you see is helmet fragments flying through the air), lots on standard Star Wars blaster shooting.
The mandalorian has a rifle and shoots another man. The man is instantly disentigrated
Stormtroopers are shown with half-blasted off helmets as they lay dead. In another scene, the Mandalorian burns a Stormtrooper alive. We see the Stormtroopers burnt head afterwards. However, it is mostly covered by his helmet.
The Mandalorian kills a large animal by stabbing it in the neck. Nothing majorly graphic is shown
Carl Weather's character gets two giant gashes down his arm exposing muscle and blood but Yoda heals him and the wounds close. It's dimly lit so all we see is the cuts. Jawas are shown being disintegrated after being shot by The Mandalorian's rifle. Not graphic.
The Mandalorian stabs a Stormtrooper in the back with a knife. However, the view is shown from the front side and no blood is seen
In the beginning of Chapter 8, the scout troopers punch Baby Yoda for either biting their finger, or because he was squirming too much. This scene is either intense or comical depending on how you feel about it.
The Child force chokes a woman. She is saved however.
A man gets head trauma. Blood is seen on a woman's hand after she checks his wound.
Profanity
"Hell" is said 4 times. And the term "wise ass" is used once. "Bastard" used once.
Bastard is used once.
Pretty much no profanity
One use of the word s*** in the 6th episode.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
While trapped in a prison there is an alarm accompanied by strobing lights. This may affect photosensitive viewers. Since this is the story of a bounty hunter, there will be more violence than in the Star Wars movies.
Episode 1 - scenes of a sudden attack by the Mandalorian to the people in a bar. He kills them quickly with minimal violence.
Episode 1 - The Mandalorian and a Bounty Droid have an intense and sudden fight with some enemies near the end of the first episode. This is intense, but with no blood.
A child is aimed at by the sniper of a bounty hunter. While the bounty hunter misses and the child is unharmed this scene is still intense.
Kuill is killed by troopers at the end of episode 7. We see a shot of Baby Yoda laying on the ground, to be later picked up by a trooper on a speeder bike. Then we see a shot of Kuill's dead body lying face-down with his dead Bluurg lying beside him. The episode ends after that
A Scout-Trooper punches Baby Yoda. You hear Yoda scream.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
Some of the Mandalorian's bounty transactions occur in a bar. Alcohol is mentioned
A character suggests to the protagonist that they should buy some "spice" (an implied drug in the star wars universe) and soon he'll have forgot everything that happened.
my personal opinion on what the show should be rated is TV-14 for sci-fi action and violence brief suggestive content implied drugs and brief language

Stranger Things Parents Guide
since common sense media took down my origanal post which was the number 1 on the list of parent reviews i had to go ahead and make another review. Thanks Yall.
MAJOR SPOILERS
Violence
A man is beaten in his office. First, his head is pushed and slammed into the door, breaking his nose, and he is then repeatedly punched (we only hear this from outside the locked door) and then is thrown over his desk. After this, his finger is forced into a cigar slicer and the person beating him pushes down on it almost cutting his finger, but stops after his answers are given. He is then taken hostage, but not further hurt. His face is bloody all throughout the episode.
Characters, both unknown and well-known, die.
In a hospital, there is a chase scene which is pretty gory. A man is stabbed with scissors - blood spurts out. One man's nose is broken, but the blood is black. At the end, their skins melts into chunks of blood.
This show is known for suddenly escalating violence and gore to an "R" or TV-MA rating, despite the overall lower rating of the show.
In the early season 1 there is a monster with an appearance which is slimy and sticky and really gruesome to look at
In season 3 two men die with their bodies exploding and all their guts and blood moving by them self to form a monster. This can make any squeamish people watching feel very disgusted and horrified
Violence gets more severe as the seasons progress.
Season 3 is by far the goriest season.
A character is shown with a bloody nose frequently throughout the series.
A man is eaten by a group of monsters. You can see blood spurting from his neck and stomach. The creatures feast on his body for a few seconds after he is killed (graphic). This cuts off after a rather long time and shows again briefly. This can be very emotional.
Every time Eleven uses her powers in season 1, her nose bleeds. In season 2, she learns to control her powers better yet still has some nosebleeds. In one of the final scenes, Eleven pushes the monster back in the gate. Bloods oozes out of both her nostrils. None of the nosebleed scenes are graphic or gory.
Steve and Billy get into a fist fight in the season 2 finale. Steve has the upper hand at first but Billy soon gets it and repeatedly punches Steve in the face. Max then gets involved and sedates Billy. He removes the syringe and eventually falls to the ground. Ultimately, Steve and Billy end up being fine. Except with Steve recovering first.
In one scene, Eleven uses her powers to cause a group of government workers to bleed from their eyes and noses, eventually crushing their brains (heard but not seen). Somewhat graphic.
Demidogs get inside a lab elevator full of people and attack and feast on them (the actual attack is not shown but you see the aftermath with a lot of blood and dead bodies when the elevator arrives at the next floor) this scene can be skipped as you can see it coming (Season 2 episode 8) near the start of the episode
In season 3, people and rats melt or explode into graphic puddles, and a man is dismembered in a rotating blade
The Violence in season 3 is way more severe than the last 2 seasons, this includes melted human beings, and (spoiler ahead) a man getting brutally chopped by a machine in the last episode of season 3
In season 3, a large monster bites a young girl's leg. It is later realized that a small part of the monster stayed inside her leg, and someone attempts to slice it out with a hot knife. They slit her leg open and insert their hand into her leg, feeling around for the monster. This is fairly graphic and quite hard to watch.
Billy sacrifices himself to save Eleven and the kids. He is impaled multiple times by the monster. He is screaming throughout the scene and blood seeps through his tank top, blood also spurts out of his mouth. This scene is extremely bloody and emotional.
In the first scene of the first episode of season 3. A machine malfunctions and melts and burns a couple of men's bodies. This is shown in graphic detail and slow motion.
In the final act of season 3 the monster is attacked with fireworks being thrown at it. Sparks from the fireworks are seen flying everywhere as the creature screeches in pain. This is only to distract the monster. Not graphic but starts very suddenly.
Season 1: a decaying corpse is shown in very graphic detail. A child or animal (not clear) is seen being devoured by a monster. A dead deer with bloody wounds is seen for a few seconds.
In one of the final episodes of season 3, a character is shot in the chest. The scene doesn't show a lot of Gore but you can see him bleed out after a character gets 2 others and he passes away shortly after. The scene is very emotional.
In season 3 episodes 6 and 8 people are turned into bloody mush (this is quite unsettling and disturbing) afterwards these human pieces form together to create a fleshy creature.
At the start of episode 8 in season 3 Eleven's leg is cut open by Jonathan as he is trying to remove a piece of The Spider Monster from her leg. This extremely graphic as a lot of blood and gore is shown

Halo reach parents guide
Voilence
As you walk through the game there is a lot of dead corpses that have been brutally killed. They have body parts removed and there are a lot of blood trails
Before you jump out of the plane Carter (noble 1) is driving you see blood all over the window and see carter with a very beat up and bloody face. This could upset younger players
Grunts die very gruesomely in warfare even though they have blue blood. They can be shot in half. There are also suicide grunts that run at you with two armed grenades hoping to blow themselves and you up in the process
Explosions, crashes, fire, buildings being destroyed etc
Some aliens have red blood but when you shoot them a medium amount comes out. Also both aliens and humans leave pools of blood when shot and killed.
Most of the game is filled with basic gun violence from assault rifles to rocket launchers. Both aliens and humans will bleed when getting shoot, aliens do not have red blood. The amount of blood is more than the previously Halo games.
When you are not using firearms, you are either using a turret, or in a spaceship, or shuttle.
In the level New Exodus the city has been invaded by "The covenant" civil people are lying dead all around the city, killed by the aliens. The mission is quite suspenseful.
The game also offers the player to attack aliens with a knife, however the enemy must not be looking at you, making it a pretty rare occasion.
You can stumble upon some civilians or soldiers with an injury or wound.
The brutes are much larger than the player and aliens, and can be intimidating to younger players.
In space battles if you die, there is an explosion, and the pilot perishes. This may disturb some younger players.
Language
Some marines can use the f word on some occasions. if your are looking for it you will probably find 1 per mission
Bitch is frequently used
Constant uses of damn and hell in missions
some uses of goddamn
uses of profanity throughout the game, such as (hell, damn, crap, s**t, bastard).
Online players may use foul language. It is recommended to disable online chat for younger players.
If the the game was a movie it would be rated R for pervasive strong violence, disturbing and bloody images, brief strong language, and strong thematic material
