EXCELLENT MOVIE for kids, parents & grandparents!
We (mom + 11 yr old daughter) LOVED this movie and watched it with grandma and uncle. Both strong and neglected older adult characters are shown, as well as an incredible character grandson who's awesomely kind, cool and funny. Many more intergenerational movies like this are needed with a plot focused on the older person! We all loved it,

Yeah, no. Classism and consumerism at its worst.
This movie's about one thing: Jennifer Lopez promoting Jennifer Lopez. The narcissism and classism in the film barely outmatches its consumerism, celebrity culture and the products they're trying to sell. It’s female empowerment message is less about equality and more about one woman hoping everyone continues to prove their nonstop adoration for her. Her “help” (assistants) in the movie and characters like Sarah Silverman’s are way too much of an accessory to this, but the minor side struggle of Charlie’s daughter Lou at the end is at least a nice distraction to the main plot. The sexual innuendo, discussion of “sex” on a date during the credits, a little out of touch for an audience that includes kids.

Great show for families!
It is a very heartfelt story. And nanny helps a family that lost their mother two years ago. And the dad just got with a girlfriend. There’s a little bit of romance with the dad and the two older brothers. Unfortunately there’s a lot of stereotypes

Intriguing fictionalized account of the night these 4 icons met together in Miami
This movie is an intriguing fictionalized account of the night these four icons met together in Miami. It may require too much prerequisite knowledge to interest or entertain the average kid who isn't quite aware of these mens' place in history, but I absolutely loved it and will be showing it to my 11-yr old daughter, who I consider to be more aware of classism and racism than most 11-yr olds I know. Not quite sure why there is an R-rating so I'll be watching it again alone to make sure I haven't forgotten anything that would be inappropriate for her, but this is a solid film for families with older aged kids.

Great wrestling movie
Even though the grandma acts weirdly flirtatious and it really promotes WWE, this is a great family and kids movie . Good role models. I like that they deal with the hardship of a parent leaving a kid. It’s a really good comedy

Great movie!
This movie is amazing! Besides the fact that they’re criminals they are pretty good role models but it’s all about friendship and girl power. I think the age level depends on how mature your child is there is a time where a girl seduces a guy to Frame him and there is a short kissing clip but nothing really happens otherwise his is a great and funny movie. there is some swearing and some smoking and drinking but nothing else

Adventure movie
The end can be a little scary - if it weren't for that, you could see this at 5 years old. If your kid wants to watch Moana, I would just warn them that the end will be scary because it has Moana fighting Taka, which turns out to be a NOT-scary situation at the very end. Other than that - it's a great story about a girl who wants to be a good leader of her people. And she ends up becoming a hero! (Written by my 7-yr old daughter.)

Adventure movie
Maleficent is a really good movie except it has some fighting, but in the end, it shows that it doesn't have to be a man that gives you a true love kiss. It can sometimes be a really good family member or your mom or something like that. (Written by my 7-yr old daughter.) Overall great mother daughter movie!

I love this show
I see why some people can think Jesse is inappropriate but I think they just have a few inappropriate parts but I think that’s just to make it more funny. I am in love with Jesse and I watch it all the time with my stepsister but I get why some people don’t like it. In my opinion I think it’s a great show to watch. I think it’s a really funny show to watch

The Motorcycle Diaries

Excellent and Subtle
This is a beautifully shot movie based on a book. It has an outstanding lead actor that skillfully and subtly touches upon the injustices outside of the U.S., which the US. helped create, through pillaging other countries’ land, resources and people. What corporations do when given this much power (i.e. United Fruit Company) is another story - not part of this film but something educated adults will know. Kids will simply see this as a an adult friends’ road trip movie — but Ernesto at points realizes the horrific injustices of poverty of his neighbors, for example the way his countries treat people in poverty and those with leprosy.
The end is particularly inspiring. Well worth watching, especially for adults to see a tiny piece of history that created these revolutionaries.
