Dork Diaries
Nikki Maxwall moves to a new school. She wanted to sign up for the art contest. She go messed up and got in a different subject. Nikki found new friends to be with her. Mackenieze was trying to do something bad to Nikki. Mackenieze kept on bothering Nikki for something. Mackenieze was the enemy of Nikki. Mackienze and Nikki's lockers were not seperated .The conflit was that Nikki and Mackienze never got along because they kept fighting. The theme was not to bully people if you don't know them that well even if their new. The book was good because Nikki kept ignoring Mackenienze when she was bulling her and that shows me when I get bullied just ignore them. I recomand this book to other people because it show people to not listen to the bully. I chose those boxes because it educates you not to bully. Also, it is great role madels because it shows people not to give up on themselfes. It has great messages because it shows people on to be a mean person and not get into other peoples stuff. It is four stars because it didn't talk all about how they started being mean to each other and didn't get a lot of how they became enemies.I did not chose those boxes because it have a lot of those things it was mostly about them not being friends and didn't have any grose or bad stuff on the book it was a book of them not being good friends.

The Ugly Truth
Greg didn’t want to hit puberty or grow up and something happened with the friendship of Greg and Rowley. Somethings started to changed in the family of Greg. Greg and the family had to to go to this special occasion at Gammies house. When the things changed some of them got to normal and even Greg's friendship with Rowley. Greg struggled against Rowley about being friends again. Greg and Rowley weren't friends anymore because of some problem friends had. When both of them went to a Lock-In thing and Greg didn't want to be there when Rowley was there. Both of them weren't best friends anymore. No matter how a person looks they are still beautiful. Rowley look like he was hitting puberty and his mom thought that Rowley look handsome or beautiful. Everyone can look different and can look beautiful too. I thought the book was good because the book showed me that change is good or bad. When the rules of Greg changed it was good for him and bad for him too. I thought the book is also good because change in your body is good sometimes. Greg and Rowley were changing when they were getting older. I thought the book was good. I would recommend this book to other people because the book will show them how we change and what we have to deal with when we are growing up like puberty. Greg's dad had to pass through puberty when he was growing up. I will also recommend this book to other people because some people to change something in their life to make it better or worse. Greg had to change lots of things in his life like waking up early and Greg didn't like that and that made his life worse. I would recommend this book to other people. I give it 4 stars because I learned that if you learn about your body you won't be scared when you change. Rowley changed from his body and wasn't scared about because he knew that was going to happen. I also give the book 4 stars because your l life can be difficult when you have lots of things happening in your life. Greg had a difficult time in his life like his dad doing lots of things and Greg had to face puberty at a time. I give this book only 4 stars. I chose the age 12 because kids will understand how they will change in their body or hit puberty. The kids that age start to hit puberty and Rowley hit puberty at that time too. I also chose the age 12 because the kids will understand that you don't have to fight for something that doesn't matter and not be friends. The kids will know that they fight for something that will make them never be friends. Greg and Rowley fought for a same thing and weren't friends anymore. I checked educational value because you learn about the cage in your body like puberty that will hit everyone. Puberty will hit everyone and puberty hit Rowley already like it can hit you. I also chose the educational value because you will learn that some of your parents don't know what to do to help you. Your parents might not be able to help you in your homework like Greg's dad didn’t get Greg's homework and couldn't help him. I chose great messages because you will learn you can take care of yourself better. Greg's dad tells him to take care of himself. I chose great messages because you will learn that it is important to know how other people can feel. Greg wanted to know how dad was feeling when he didn’t wake up. I chose great role models because Greg's mom is one of the role models. Greg's mom went back to school to learn new things. I chose great role models because Greg's dad is another great role model. Greg's dad wanted Greg to wake up early so he didn’t wake him up. I didn't chose to much violence, too much sex, too much swearing, too much consumerism, or too much drinking/drugs/smoking because there was none of those. None of those things were in the book.

The Greenwitch
Jane, Simon, and Barney go to a museum and find out that the grail is missing. They got to this camp to find the grail with another guy named Will. They go and find it and Jane one day stays up all night and see that the ladies in the camp were building something. Then the men come and help the ladies. The men drop that thing underwater. Barney and Simon go see this old man and they old man had something they needed. Will and another guy call the Greenwich to come out because the Greenwich had something that wasn't her's. Then the Greenwich gives that thing to Jane in her dream. Then everyone goes to find the grail. They got to find it and they went back home. One of the big central conflicts is that they couldn't find the grail. Jane, Simon, Barney, and Will went to that camp to try to find the grail. The Greenwich had something that can help find the grail and complete the grail together. The theme of this story is that if something is yours and you don't want to give that thing to no one and the end that thing can work for good. The Greenwich didn't want to give nobody her precious object and even though the dark side or the light side could get it. The Greenwich gave the thing to Jane because she made a wish of the Greenwich. Jane said,"I wish you were happy." The Greenwich gave that thing to Jane and she didn't want to use that thing for bad nor for good. I thought the book was good because in the book it show how mean people can become into another different person. Also, it is good because in the story the people there don't think about themselves and they think about the our people that can get hurt with that thing of the Greenwich. The book is good because the book also show how to work together and come out with something good and win at the end. I will recommend this book to other people because if someone finds something that you need they keep that thing for themselves and don't give it to you. I will recommend it to other people also because some of your friends have something that is yours and don't give it back and say that it is theirs and the book is about that. I also recommend the book because it talks about how you can break your friendship with that person if you don't give that thing to them. I chose the educational box because the book helps you understand that you don't have to do everything the hard way you can just do things right and good things will happen to you. I chose the great messages box because it tells messages of what to do if someone doesn't want to give you back that thing or If you don't have no friends and you want to be friends with that person you have a chances if you do things right. I chose the box of great role models because Jane wasn't mean to the Greenwich and the Greenwich gave that thing to her and they all work together to find the grail. I didn't chose too much violence, too much sex, too much swearing, to much consumerism, or too much drinking/drugs/smoking because the book didn't talk about any of that only about how people can became good friends even if their mean or evil and doesn't tell anything about that. I think it is for kids 12 and up because there are hard words in the book and tells mean people can became good and some smaller kids won't get that. That is what I think the age level should be. I chose 4 stars because the book shows a lot how people can do right things and not the opposite and I wanted it to be more about how the kids got to find the grail. I like this book and give it 4 stars.

The Lightning Thief
Percy went to a museum and Mr. Brunner gave Percy a sword that is a pen. Percy went to camp Half Blood. Zeus thinks that Percy stole the lightning bolt. Percy fights with Luke for the lightning bolt so Percy can give the lightning bolt back to Zeus. Percy got to the Olympics on time to return the lightning bolt or there will be a fight between the gods. Percy struggled against Zeus about the lightning bolt being stolen. Zeus thought it was Percy because he didn't trust none of Poseidon's son which is Percy. They both struggled against each other because Zeus thought Percy always takes things away from the gods. The theme is don't remember what they did in the past so in the future you don't think that is them that toke something from you. In the past Poseidon the dad of Percy kidnapped Zeus and then Zeus never believed in Poseidon again. I thought the book was good because it shows that you have to trust people sometimes even if they have done bad things. I also thought it was good because it shows you to be confident. Percy was confident because he went to the underworld. I thought the book was good because it shows you to explore the world and not stay inside the whole time. Percy went on an adventure to find the lightning bolt. I would recommend this book to other people because it shows you how to never give up on something. I know that because Percy never gave up to find the lightning bolt. I would also recommend this book to other people because the book shows you to be brave. In the book it said that Percy was brave enough to go to the underworld. I chose that is for 12 and up because it talks about gods and how they all work together in cabins. Kids in that age can understand about the gods and how they worked together because some gods had sons or daughters. Also because it talks about monsters and kids at that age won't get scare like other smaller kids. That is why I chose it for ages 12 and up. I gave it five stars because it talks about worlds that are different or that don't exist. In the book it talks about Camp Half Blood and it doesn't exist. I also gave it five stars because I like how they talk about monsters that are imaginary and that don't exist. In the book it talks about a monster that has horns which is a Minotaur and Minotaur can turn people in to dust in the book. That is why I gave it five stars. I chose great messages because it tells you to never give up on something you really want to do. I also chose great messages because it shows you to be determined. Percy was determined when he was going to the underworld and the Olympics to go turn in the lightning bolt to Zeus. I chose great role models because Grover is a role model. Grover risked his life to safe Percy and Annabeth. I also chose great role models because Percy is a great role model. Percy does his best and never gave up and gave the lightning bolt back to Zeus. He fought with monsters and people that were evil and he risked his life to return the lightning bolt. I chose to much violence because Percy had to fight with monster all the time. In the book it said that he fought Medusa. Also it has to much violence because in the camp of Half Blood people were always fighting and also the gods fought with each other. In the book it said that people in Camp Half Blood were practicing to fight. The gods once had a war between each other. I didn't chose to much sex, too much swearing, too much consumerism, or too much drinking, drugs, or smoking because there wasn't any of that in the book.

Dog Days
Greg have summer vacation but, he always stay inside playing video games. The mom always told him he had to go outside. The mom wanted the family to go out to this place Greg didn't like to go. Something changed his mind and he wanted to go to that place he hated. He passed all his summer with some bad things happening to him. Greg struggles against his mom about him not wanting to pass his summer outside with the family. The mom wanted Greg to go outside on a sunny day but, Greg was inside the house playing video games with the curtain closed and the lights off.
One of the central themes of the book is that not always staying inside the house is a good idea and sometimes you should go outside and have some fun. Greg always wanted to stay inside but, this girl that he liked and that was in that place he hated changed his mind of always staying inside the house. I think this book is good because it shows that playing video games or staying inside isn't always a good idea. Also going outside can help you stayed relaxed and playing video games isn't that good for you. I think this book is good.
I will recommend this book to other people because this shows that playing video games can be really bad for you. Also, the book might convince people to stop playing video games. Video games can also ruin your vision. I will recommend this book to other people. I chose 4 stars because the shows things that people should do and not do. Also, because it didn't show a lot of how people should not stay inside all the time. Also, the people are trying to tell Greg to go out and have some fun outside and sometimes Greg doesn't do what his family says. That is why I give the book 4 stars.
I chose the age 13 year old because those people are the ones who play a lot of video games. Those people don't like to go outside in summer and be with their family. Those people just feel it's better to be inside. Those people think its the best to stay inside playing video games. That is why I think it is for 13 year old.
I chose great messages because it gives a message that people should go outside instead of being inside playing video games. Also, gives a message that you should never trust a friend that never helps you or puts you in trouble. I chose great role models because the parents of Greg and the role models. They are the role models because they make rules of not watching scary movies. Also, they are trying to get their kids to spend time together and go outside. I chose too much sex because Greg has a crush on this girl. The girl is a teenager and that is what changed his mind of going to that horrible place which is the town pool.
I didn't chose educational value or too much violence or too much swearing or too much consumerism or too much drinking/drugs/smoking because it didn't have nothing of that. It didn't show nothing of those and the book did't have any of that. The books show somethings that are good and not bad things like that. The book showed positive things and didn't have things that are inappropriate. That is why I didn't chose any of those boxes.

The Sea of Monsters
Camp half blood was in danger. Percy was having dreams of Grover being captured. Percy, Annabeth, and Tyson disobeyed Mr.D and went to save Grover. Clarisse brought the golden fleece back and they brought Grover back. The tree that was Thalia turned into a human. Percy struggled against Luke about Thalia the tree being poisoned. In the book it said that Luke had poisoned the tree of Thalia to destroy Camp Half Blood. The theme is don't judge on how someone looks judge them on how they act. In the book there is a cyclops called Tyson and he was described like big monster but Tyson acted like hero. Tyson saved Percy and his friends from Polyphemus the cyclops. I thought the book was good because Tyson risked his life to save his friends. Tyson put his friends first than his life. Tyson saved everyone from the big mean cyclops. I also thought the book was good because everyone helped each other to save Grover even though some people didn't want to save him. Everyone in Camp Half Blood wanted to save Grover. I would recommend this book to other people because it talks about how friends help each other in the good or bad times. In the book it said that when the camp was in danger the people in the camp were sure that the camp was going to be saved with the golden fleece. I will also recommend this book to other people because it talks about never giving up on saving one of your friends. In the book Percy never gave up on saving Grover. I choose the age 12 and up because it talks about monsters attacking other people. Kids that are in 12 and up are not going to get scared. Kids in 12 are going to understand why the monsters are attacking the people. I also choose the age 12 and up because they will understand how the gods are connected to the tree of Thalia. Thalia is the daughter of Zeus. I choose 5 stars because the book shows people how to work together. Percy, Annabeth, and Tyson work together to save Grover. Percy, Annabeth, and Tyson worked together to get the golden fleece. I also choose 5 stars because it shows to never give up on someone. Percy, Annabeth, and Tyson never gave up on looking for Grover. I choose great role models because Percy is a great role model. Percy saved Grover from the cyclops and brought back the fleece. I also choose great role models because Tyson is one of the great role models. Tyson helped save Grover by fighting the cyclops. I choose great messages because it shows you to be confident. Percy was confident to succeed on his adventure to save Grover. Another great message is to fight for what is right. Tyson fought the cyclops to bring back Grover and the fleece. Tyson fought for what was right for him. I choose educational value because the book talks about the Greek gods. In social studies you learn about the Greek gods. The Greek gods are educational value you will learn. I didn't choose too much violence, too much sex, too much swearing, too much consumerism, too much drinking, drugs, smoking because the book didn't have any of those things.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid
Greg hated going to middle school. Everything went wrong for Greg all the time. Greg signed up for safety patrol and the school newspaper cartoonist. Someone then got the cheese touch. Greg struggled against Rowley about being popular. When Greg and Rowley went to school Rowley said, "What to come to my house and play?" Now people say hand out not play. Being with Rowley can make Greg not be popular. Rowley can ruin Greg's chance to being popular. Sometimes when you do something and another gets blamed for it is good to say the truth and get in trouble. Sometimes you have to do the right thing.Rowley got in trouble for terrorizing kindergartners with a worm. Greg told the truth to Rowley and said that Greg did the worm thing. Greg payed the price and got in trouble. Greg had to suffer the consequences. Sometimes it is better to tell the truth and you will feel better about it. Greg did the right thing and other do the right thing too. I thought the book was good because some things can ruin your friendship. Greg and Rowley are not friends anymore because of the worm thing. That worm thing ruined Greg's friendship with Rowley. Sometimes we fight with our friends and never become friends. Rowley and Greg weren't friends for a long time. That happens with everyone yout fight and never friends.I also thought the book was good because some things can go wrong but, sometimes you can fix what you did wrong. In the book Greg fixed the thing about the cheese. Greg saved Rowley when Greg said, "I throw the cheese away to the trash can." People do things wrong sometimes and then your feel bad about it and then you fix what you did wrong. I would recommend this book to other people because some people have the same problems Greg has to deal with. Greg has to deal with a lot of problems from school and home. Some of us have the same problems as Greg. Some of the problems that Greg has are hard to deal with. Some people's problem are difficult to deal with all the time. I also would recommend this book to other people because sometimes people have big and little brothers that you mess around with and you always get in trouble. Greg got in trouble for messing around with Manny his little brother. Greg and Manny were playing with a little piece of yarn and the yarn fell in Manny's mouth and swallowed it. Greg got in trouble of the yarn.Don't mess around with your siblings or you will get in trouble. Lots of things can happen to you we you mess around like getting in big trouble. I gave the book 5 stars because Greg always tried to be the best at everything but, everything went wrong. Greg want to be the best dressed and class clown. Greg wasn't any of those things. Some people want to be the best at everything but, no one can. You want to be the best at all the things but, everything is done badly. I also give the book 5 stars because I learned if you always try your best you can achieve something. Greg tried his best to get to be the school newspaper cartoonist. Greg try his best and got to be the cartoonist. Lots of kids try their best and they complete something good. Trying your best is worth doing it. I also give the book 5 stars you learn how you need help from another person too you can't do everything by yourself. Greg needed help from Rowley to do the comic strips. Everyone needs help sometimes or all the time. Rowley needs help from Greg when the cheese disappeared. Greg and Rowley always help each other. I chose age 12 and up because these kids will understand the things we do in middle school. Greg has to do a lot of things in middle school Kids that are 12 will get all the things that happen in middle school. Greg has to go to middle school and 12 year old kids do too. Greg and 12 year old kids have the same life as Greg in middle school. I chose a 12 and up because kids will understand how the teachers yell at the students. Greg gets yelled by a lot of teachers when Greg gets in trouble. When Greg did that with the worm thing Greg got yelled really hard. Everyone gets yelled at in middle school. Some kids get in trouble a lot and get yelled all the time. I chose great messages because the mom told Greg something that was great and important and Greg did the right thing. Greg's mom said,"You have to do things right." Greg did the correct thing and his mom was happy. Sometimes you have to do the things correct. Doing things right is a great message. I also chose great messages because the teachers wanted to stay save at school. The teachers go safety patrols to keep the school safe and no bullying. The school stayed safe with the safety patrols and no bad things happened in the middle school. I chose great role models because Rowley's dad and Greg's mom do the best for their sons. Rowley's dad doesn't let Rowley play any violent video games. Some parents protect their kids from violent things. Greg's mom doesn't let Greg show any bad things to Manny his little brother and Greg doesn't show any bad things to Manny never. Some parents protect their kids a lot even when they go to a place. I also chose great role models because the teachers of Greg never say or show bad words to their students. Greg and his group wrote bad words on a piece of paper and the teacher got mad but, didn't say a bad word to them. The teachers never say bad words to their students. Some teachers are mean and nice to their students. I didn't chose educational vaule, too much violence, too much sex, too much swearing, too much consumerism, too much drinking/drugs/smoking because there wasn't any of that in the book. There wasn't any of those things in the book.
