Quite good, but a few things to be discussed.
My daughter was quite interested in this show, so after talking about it with someone, I let her watch it. She is quite interested in it and is intrigued to keep watching. There is a very strong female role model and it is very wholesome at moments. I would recommend this for older kids though due to a mature themes in the show, scary talk, and certain language. Definitely good though, but more for older kids.

Disappointing
This show was great when I first watched it with my mom. It was really entertaining to both of us and I loved the fact of how she-hulk was a strong female girl power character. But then we reached the season finale. We invested time into this show and the ending was extremely disappointing. Nothing made sense. Don’t waste your time on this.

Out of all of the Thor movies, it is the worst.
This movie was OK but not as good as the other movies. The humor was entertaining and it was very thrilling. I didn’t prefer the kidnapping of the children in the beginning. It may be a bit traumatic for others. In the end it is OK.

My daughter’s new favorite anime.
After much hesitation, I let my 11 year old daughter watch this. She loves it! It does get quite violent and even she flinches sometimes, so if your child is a bit jumpy or sensitive to things like blood, murder ect. then I would not recommend . Overall, it does have some very positive messages and lots of sibling love. Now to talk about the first episode. Adult supervision recommended, especially if your child has nightmares about their parents or family being murdered. My daughter honestly didn’t get bothered much by it, but some others may have. It also does have some swearing here and there, but nothing too bad from what I’ve seen. I know this review is getting long so let’s wrap it up. My daughter really liked it, and the only way to really judge it is by watching it yourself. Not exactly family friendly, but some may really enjoy it. It’s based on what type of things your kid can and can’t handle.

Too traumatizing
My 9 year old was pretty disturbed by the film. She feels like 14 is a more appropriate age. Even if your child has read the books, the graphic nature and violence of the live action film can be unsettling. My daughter is still freaked out whenever she sees anything about the movie and it’s been over a year. Proceed with caution.

I loved it, very family friendly.
I’m not trying to single out anyone’s opinion, personally, I think you should watch it before you judge. It does get a bit action packed in some moments, but is overall very mild. I personally really liked it. It has a lot of positive messages, and Jim Parsons never fails when it comes to comedy. Quite funny. The jokes certainly add to the fun of kids and adults. It is very family friendly, I really do recommend it :).

Great movie!!
Awesome!! So exited for the sequel! Although pretty good amount of violence and a little graphic. Besides all that this is a hilarious movie. There is a reason there is two movies.

Please save your children their tears.
My daughter liked this when she was younger, but now I realize how terrifying it is.
1. The storyline
The story starts out about a little 11 year old girl named Coraline. Basically she’s moved into a new house at the start of the movie. While she’s looking around, she finds what looks like a trapdoor sealed up by wallpaper. She gets her mother to open it and sees that there is just a wall of bricks behind the trapdoor. She leaves it alone. That night, she finds a mouse and follows it to the door, seeing that there is a sort of portal leading to another world. She proceeds. When she is there, she finds her mother, but something is different. She has buttons for eyes. And not just her, her whole family. Her new house is nicer and she gets delicious meals and gets to play fun games. The next day she wakes up in her regular home, thinking this is all a dream. The same thing happens again that night. A boy named Whybe from the neighborhood has his mouth sewn shut so he can’t talk. The neighbors put on fun shows as well. This happens another night. On the third night, Coraline is sat at the dining table and shown a present. She opens it to find buttons and a very sharp needle, indicating she is to get buttons sewn on her eyes. Coraline ultimately refuses, going to bed to wake up from her “nightmare.” She wakes up to realize that she is still trapped in the other world. She then realizes from a cat that the other world is fake and created by the other mother. She goes to leave, but her other mother refuses to let her. Coraline, of course, is harsh towards her. The other mother counts to three, starting to take her true form. Coraline does not apologize and is sent into timeout behind the mirror. There, she finds the souls of other children the other mother has lured in. Turns out that the other mother, also known now as the beldam, lures innocent children in, takes their eyes and souls, and eats them as nourishment. Coraline then realizes she must free the children’s souls. Other Whybe then frees Coraline and tells her to go. Whybe now has an eerie sewn on smile because he didn’t smile enough. Coraline finds out when she comes back that her parents were kidnapped by the beldam, and she must save them. She makes a deal with the other mother, saying that if she finds the children’s eyes and frees her parents before time runs out, then she may leave. But if she doesn’t, she will stay and get buttons sewn on to her eyes. Coraline ultimately succeeds but realizes that the other mother, now in a horrifying arachnid like form, has no intention of letting her go. She throws the cat at her face as he claws out her buttons. Coraline runs for her life, trying her best to escape through the door as the other mother exclaims how she needs her and will die without her. Coraline makes it, and her parents are freed. She goes to bed that night and sees that the children are freed as well. But all is still not over. The other mother’s severed hand goes after Coraline to get the key to the trapdoor. Her hand is smashed by Whybe as he and Coraline throw the key and the other mother’s severed hand to the bottom of the well, never to be seen again. That is when the movie ends.
2. Commentary
This is definitely not for kids under 15. I hope others agree. It mainly depends on what your kid can and can’t handle, but I particularly didn’t approve.

Awesome! My daughter couldn’t stop reading!
Enough with these bad reviews. This is my daughter’s all time favorite book. She zipped through it and loved it just as much as the movie. I highly recommend this for tweens. Especially for people who don’t like reading until they read this. Suzanne Collins is brilliant. Amazing! Five stars all the way! But be cautious if your young one is squeamish or scares easily.
