Fun, quirky mystery show

Lots of laughs, intrigue, and thought-provoking ideas. Tony Hale (Arrested Devlopment, Toy Story 4) is brilliant, but the kids are definitely the stars of this show, which your kids will love. The show can get pretty heady at times, but the action and the suspense will keep most kids interested even if some of the concepts are a bit deep for the younger ones. My 9 year old boy looks forward to it every week! Good messaging about morals, especially in showing the consequences of acting immorally. Parents who are concerned about grown up subject matter (politics, sexuality, etc) will feel very safe with this show, at least in the first 7 episodes that have been released. Overall, this is a great show for the whole family to watch together.

The Mysterious Benedict Society

I started watching the show and fell in love with it from the first episode. It has a perfect cast! All the characters are very likable/loveable--even Constance Contraire. She's my favorite. I told my son about it hoping he'd want to watch an episode. He said--I'm not wasting my time on some silly kids show. So I started watching the series over again while he was around... Long story short--now he's hooked. I hope Disney isn't foolish enough to cancel it... it's literally the only reason I'm keeping Disney Plus.

Wonderful family show.

We love this series! The whole family watch it together, which is quite unusual. We love the cinematography, the set design, the costumes, the characters etc etc.

I love this show so deeply.

It's very family/kid safe, if that's what you're worried about! But it's also fun for adults. I'm in my 20s and it's one of my favorite shows! It's also just a really fun story full of likable colorful characters, whimsy, and interesting twists. As someone who read the books, I really liked it as an adaptation as well! It made some changes but all ones I thought were interesting and only added to my enjoyment. One of my favorite TV shows as of late! I actually watched every episode when it came out (at 2 am in my time oops) which for me, is a lot, because I tend to procrastinate or watch them all at once when they're all out. The actors all do a splendid job (particularly Tony Hale as both Mr. Curtain and Mr. Benedict!) and if this doesn't get a season two, I'll cry.

Amazing mystery for kids

Me and my daughter love the mystery. It has the vibe of series of unfortunate events and The kids and very likable. There are some rudely behaved children such as constance and the bully at the school but other then that this is an amazing TV show that you HAVE to check out.

Perfect mash between a mystery and an adventure!

We follow 4 extremely smart kids who will help Mr Benedict keep eyes on the exclusive school on an island. There is a lot of mystery and suspense. They make sure to add in cliffhangers that make you want to come back for more! I would recommend this for kids that love mysteries and can understand a plot and a tricky storyline. I absolutely can not wait until the next episode comes out!

Smart, funny, and engaging

Great for the whole family. Slightly scary for young kids. If you like the series of unfortunate events, then you will love this adaptation of the book.

If you can find it, it’s amazing.

We love this show so far but it’s impossible to find to watch anywhere. Disney pulled the show in May 2023 and it is no longer available via any legitimate channels. It’s so sad. An awesome adventure mystery with an old school / Wes Anderson vibe. I love how no one is sexualized and the main character kids are trusted to be brillant in their own unique ways. Complex characters and smart writing. Wish it weren’t axed!
