Both compelling and heartrending, this docuseries provides an intimate look into the effects of an unprecedented number of schizophrenia cases within a single family. Six Schizophrenic Brothers focuses on both personal stories and broader historical contexts. While the storytelling sometimes suffers from redundancy and pacing issues, the series is profound in its exploration of mental health, familial obligations, and societal stigma. Many of the details are also quite brutal.
