This interesting program offers some insight on some of the major issues the United States is currently grappling with, including those relating to race, class, gender, and sexual orientation. Megan Rapinoe and her guests offer their points of view about things ranging from the 2020 electoral candidates to the importance of continuing the effort to make fundamental, systematic changes that can help end racism and other forms of bigotry in America. Rapinoe offers her point of view as both an athlete and as a gay woman, and encourages each participant to freely share their perspectives and to ask each other questions. But the 30-minute time slot doesn't allow for a lot of in-depth discussion and leaves you feeling as if there should be more to the conversation. Nonetheless, Seeing America with Megan Rapinoe offers some interesting food for thought.
