What's the Story?

POP INNOVATORS is a reality documentary series featuring celebrities that experts from the E! network have deemed as people who have reimagined popular culture. Each episode features some backstory about and exclusive interviews with folks who have earned the title, like Black Eyed Peas member will.i.am, actress Gwenyth Paltrow, and late-nite host Jimmy Fallon. Colleagues, friends, and members of their family are also interviewed. From personal challenges and thoughts about their career successes and failures, to efforts they've made to give back to their communities, each person reveals the details of their lives that drives them to disrupt current trends, create their own personal style, and continue to reinvent themselves.

Pop Innovators offers viewers some insight into what drives celebrities, including their childhood, family and friends, and even rejection. It also highlights some of the creative thinking that goes into the work they do, as well as how they managed to build a place for themselves in the entertainment industry. How they feel about the fact that what they are doing will leave a legacy is also discussed.

Some folks may be surprised by the people who are named as popular culture innovators, as well as the reasons why they've been nominated. Fans of those selected will almost certainly find the show interesting, but even if you don't think the celebs featured here are deserving of the title, you may find some details about them that may surprise you.
