Pokémon: To Be a Pokémon Master

What's the Story?
POKÉMON: TO BE A POKÉMON MASTER is the final arc of the third and final season of Pokémon Journeys: The Series. Ash and Pikachu have been traveling around the eight regions, capturing and fighting battles as Ash works toward becoming a pokémon master. He's also seeking to help pokémon in need while making new friends. As he continues his journey, he's joined by old friends like Cilan, Misty, and Brock. But Team Rocket is still intent on stealing Pikachu, which creates some trying moments. But Ash is determined to help as many people and creatures as he can, some of which are (unbeknownst to him) also helping him.
Is It Any Good?
The third installment of Pokémon Journeys: The Series marks the end of Ash Ketchum and Pikachu's 25-year anime journey. While there's some new adventures and surprising interactions along the way, it also makes sure to bring in longstanding or nostalgic characters to celebrate the end of Ash's run. Pokémon: To Be a Pokémon Master also makes sure that fans know that while Ash and Pikachu's story may cease to be told, their personal adventures continue; this creates a positive space in which new characters and plotlines can be introduced into the franchise. Like any Pokémon-themed series, there's lots of Pokémon creatures and battle devices featured throughout that are marketed as toys and games. But the overall series features positive narratives about friendship, family, and helping others. Fans of the franchise will no doubt be entertained.
