Yall being dramatic, I rlly don't like ppl who r like OMG A NORMAL PART OF A WOMANS BODY THAT IS NOT SEXUAL AT ALL THIS IS HORRIBLE OMG THEY ARE SHOWING SKIN THAT IS A CLUMP OF CELLS SO SCANDALOUS bcs that is... sexualising women, not protecting them or whatnot. I would put 10+ bcs of the dark moments tiny kids wouldn't understand, but smoking and drinking fine bcs its an anime, everyone was exposed to those when they were young af and they didn't turn out to be dealers. So pls realise that ppl r trying to love their bodies and ppl saying their bodies r disgusting and should be hidden does not help. I also noticed most of yall talking abt breasts and womens SKIN, and not talking abt franky wearing underwear or half men being shirtless or whatnot. I don't have a problem with blood and never had especially in cartoons, but that's me and I think blood is just down to ppls phobias and stuff, not 'appropiate' and 'inappropiate'. I don't rlly like those words much in this context.

I think this show is like no other. The amount of fun i've had watching one piece is incredible. At the start, the show is very family friendly and kids will probably relate a lot to the main protagonist. then, at around episode 450 there are a couple incidents that aren't that kid friendly (violence, blood, death, tragedy). after that the "violence blood death" theme kind of continues, but to a lesser degree. the story and writing just about stay the same, and the characters personality also stays the same. how they look however, doesn't stay the same. all females in One Piece after the time skip have very large breasts and very slim waists. While i do think this is unrealistic compared to real life, i don't think it'll be a problem for kids. One Piece is action packed, with plot twist after plot twist, but also has chill times with the crew just hanging out on the pirate ship. The only other notable detail about this series is that most, if not all characters in One Piece drink. a lot. a lot of characters also smoke. there's a character who's literally named "Smoker" who has two, if not more cigars in his mouth at all times. aside from that, i think one piece is incredible and the best anime ever created. if you do decide to watch this series, i seriously wish you good luck and get ready for a hell of a ride.

Okay, One piece is one of the best anime programs I have ever seen in my life. If you are an adult you are likely here because your child has been begging you to watch one piece, I may be wrong but if you are I hope this review will help you a lot from someone who watched more than half of the show (say about 600 episodes). One Piece is different to other animes in a way of childish creativity, as much as gore/sadness you will find a fantasy which you would find in a children's book. The characters themself are quite goofy and to older kids these characteristics may result to a lot of cringe moments. The show is quite stupid and goofy so if you want something intelligent to show to your kid this isn't really the show although if you want something funny and easy going you are in the correct place. The story line is about a kid who's idol is a pirate and embarks on a deadly adventure to become the king of bloodthirsty pirates who wish to become the king just as much . As much as that may sound unpleasant to most adults, it isn't as violent as you would think. Just a goofy show, but also very emotional show. I would advise you to watch the thirst episode (as an adult above 30 I would be quite surprised if you would enjoy it but also happy for you) and then see for yourself if it is okay for your child. Now, what I said so far was quite positive but now lets get to the parts of the show which are quite inappropriate for young children. Never have I seen in the show proper sex scenes (there is not any sex scene's in the show) but I have been subject to nudity. The author, Eichiro Oda, appeared to me as a person who likes to expose feminine posture as sexuality. For example there is a guy who is one of the main characters or a close friend to the main character who likes to flirt with girls. The show would either zoom into the woman's breast (sometimes exposed to skin) and the anime's pervert (as I have found many anime has) would jump in the air with excitement, blood squirting out of his nose, but there isn't any sexual content which would go any higher then that. Another thing I would like to point out is occasional smoking and drinking, but I don't think that is much of a problem since younger children are exposed to that IRL anyways, plus the main character which appears to be the role model doesn't show any sign's of lust or smoking/drinking. Then that leads us to one last thing, One Piece does have violence in it, but in my opinion the blood and gore are not very shocking or full of annihilation. Unlike other anime's such as Demon slayer or Tokyo goul, the death's aren't very cinematic and common. In demon slayer, kids, old people, teenagers would all die because of bloodthirsty demons. Although in One Piece deaths are rather uncommon. The main character likes to "kick asses" in a very childish way, but I never actually seen him kill anyone, or don't remember anyways. Either way he has a strong sense of justice and helps people who are in need so I wouldn't say he is a bad role model. Violence is rarely on a high level and when it is it will be in a very sad and touching way (IE, Ace's death and many more). After someone important and morally correct died, the story will bit bit by bit start to get goofy and fun again. Another thing I would like to discuss is sleep, after watching One Piece I couldn't sleep, I wasn't scared or traumatized by it but simply couldn't disconnect from the show, perhaps because It was so interesting to me, or maybe it was because it had so much action and the show itself was quite speedy that I couldn't disconnect from it when I wanted to sleep, but I wouldn't be worried though, because I'm the only one I know IRL who can't sleep after watching anime so I don't except it to happen to you or your child. I hope this has helped you and if you decide to watch One Piece I wish you good look and have fun!

By the time they're nine, they'd probably be old enough to handle the violence, since all of the wounds are pretty unrealistic and cartoony. There is fanservice but between the art style and the comical nature of the show, it's nowhere near pornographic. If you're really worried, watch it with them. Trust me, you'll get hooked on it too.

The One Piece is REAL!!!

I love One Piece before I read it I used to hate how long it is, but, if you read it the pacing is much better, before you know it you'll be 100 chapters/episodes in, trust me, One Piece is amazing, it's not just a story about pirates, it's a story about breaking down those who are corrupt and making the world better, it's about liberation in countries that could never wish for it, it's about focusing on doing something and having the confidence and determination to carry it out. I admit it does have some very gory things sometimes, a character is tortured in prison and then killed by magma, (if you know, you know) It has people being treated as slaves, and some mild nudity but other than that, it's so nice

One piece is meant for everyone of all ages

One piece is a show for everyone no matter what age, sure there are parts that are probably meant for a higher age range but overall it’s a show meant for all different kinds of people. If you’re a parent on here looking for reasons to let your kid watch one piece and you’re overprotective then just watch ahead and decide what parts to let your kid watch.

what does the anime contain and the story in brief

its a really good anime but 13 above because it has a lot of things not so appropriate like too much skin showing and blood shed and smoking , really dark criminal activities but all these things really what makes the show fun but the moral values in this are also a lot like always being by your friends side , give everything to what you want to accomplish , working hard in brief for some one who wants to start watching - theres a teenage boy who sails out to the sea in order to fulfil his dream of becoming king of the pirates so he gathers a crew and a long venture fighting with really strong foes and at last defeating all the 5 emperors of the sea ( the strongest pirates of the sea in the one piece world). to become pirate king , luffy goes out to find the treasure of the former pirate king who was executed by the navy THE "ONE PIECE".......
